On August 19th Martina returned to Barcelona's Palau de la Musica Catalana for a recital. The reviewer praised her performance as following: 'Martina Filjak was as always splendid, sublime, wonderful, superb. She understood and analyzed each work in great detail and offered a range of harmonic colors, evocative and poetic sounds and acoustic experiences that are within reach of only a very few interpreters.'
On June 27th Martina has made her debut at the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. Her performance of Saint Saens's 2nd Piano Concerto along the Buenos Aires Philharmonic led by Manuel Hernandez Silva earned wonderful reviews: 'She offered a magnificent version, solid, compact and with a perfect sound balance. Not only did she show us her masterful pulsation and prestigious finger-work but also her unique interpretive temperament. One recalls only a few pianists with such an overwhelmingstage presence'.
In March, Martina traveled to South Korea and performed Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto along the Daegu Symphony led by Julian Kovatchev. In April, she visited Krakow for two performances of MacDowell's 2nd Piano Concerto along the Cracow Philharmonic and Charles Olivieri-Munroe. End of April, she returned to her hometown for a performance of Saint-Saens'2nd Piano Concerto with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and David Danzmayr.
